These terms describe the basis on which you may use RegionalOZ.com. By using the site you accept them. They are written for a research and publishing platform and do not create a migration advice relationship.
1. Platform purpose
RegionalOZ provides general research and information about Australian migration pathways, regional communities, careers, living costs and professional services, together with publishing and directory features.
RegionalOZ is not an Australian government agency, does not lodge visa applications and does not provide migration or legal advice.
2. Eligibility to use the service
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
Access from outside Australia is permitted, provided your use complies with local law.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, attempt to compromise the platform or repeatedly submit misleading content.
4. Acceptable use
The platform may not be used to harm others or to misrepresent migration information.
- Do not submit false, misleading or defamatory content.
- Do not impersonate another person, agency or organisation.
- Do not scrape, copy or resell substantial parts of the site without permission.
- Do not attempt to access other users’ accounts or interfere with platform security.
- Do not offer or promote migration advice unless you are appropriately registered.
5. Research information limitations
Content is general in nature and is not tailored to your circumstances. Visa rules, occupation lists, agreement terms and charges change regularly.
Where a page contains a verified date, that date records when the content was last checked; it is not a guarantee that the position remains unchanged.
6. Intellectual property
Text, layout, design, photography and published guides on RegionalOZ are protected by copyright. You may read, link to and quote short extracts with attribution.
Republishing substantial content, using it to train commercial models or presenting it as your own is not permitted without written consent.
7. Third-party links
Links to government registers, professional practices, publishers and other services are provided for research convenience. RegionalOZ does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or availability.
8. Agent-directory relationships
Migration agents who list on RegionalOZ do so as independent professionals. They are not employees, agents or partners of RegionalOZ in a legal sense, and they remain responsible for their own advice and services.
Any engagement is between you and the professional. Fees, scope and outcomes are agreed directly with them.
9. Paid memberships
Agent memberships are planned as a flat monthly fee with no commission on professional service revenue. Pricing will be published before any memberships are offered for sale.
Membership provides profile and directory features. It does not guarantee inquiries, clients or income.
10. Cancellation principles
Memberships are intended to be cancellable before the next billing period, with access continuing to the end of the period already paid for.
Full billing terms will be confirmed in the Agent Membership Terms before subscriptions open.
11. Liability limitations
To the extent permitted by law, RegionalOZ is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on general information, from third-party services or from decisions made about migration, employment or relocation.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Governing law and disputes
The governing jurisdiction, legal entity and registered address will be specified here before publication. No entity name, registration number or jurisdiction is asserted until confirmed.
In the meantime, disputes should be raised through the contact page so they can be addressed directly. A staged dispute process — written notice, response period, and escalation — will be published with the finalised terms.
Questions or requests
Written enquiries can be directed through the contact page. Formal contact addresses, entity details and jurisdiction clauses will be confirmed before publication.
